Robert Stephenson

Robert Stephenson (1803-1859) was a prominent British civil engineer and inventor known for his significant contributions to railway engineering during the 19th century. He was the son of the famous engineer George Stephenson, known as the "Father of Railways." Robert is best known for designing innovative locomotives, such as the "Rocket," and for building major railways and bridges, including the iconic Victoria Bridge in Canada.
