Revised Romberg test

The Revised Romberg test is a simple assessment used to evaluate a person's balance and sense of body position. In this test, a person stands with their feet together, arms at their sides, and eyes closed. By removing visual input, it helps determine if balance issues are related to the inner ear, nervous system, or other factors. A significant sway or loss of balance during the test can indicate problems with proprioception (awareness of body position) or vestibular function. It’s often used in medical settings to diagnose conditions affecting balance and coordination.
