Retired Racehorse Project

The Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) is an organization dedicated to promoting the adoption and retraining of Thoroughbred racehorses once their racing careers are over. It aims to show that these horses can excel in various equestrian disciplines, such as jumping, dressage, and eventing. Through initiatives like the Thoroughbred Makeover, where trainers compete with transformed racehorses, the RRP helps create awareness about their potential and connects prospective adopters with horses in need of new homes. By doing so, the RRP works to enhance the lives of both horses and riders while fostering a supportive community.
