Response Bias

Response bias refers to a tendency of survey or questionnaire respondents to answer questions in a way that is not completely accurate or truthful. This can happen for various reasons, such as wanting to appear more knowledgeable, being influenced by the wording of questions, or feeling pressure to conform to social norms. In the context of general knowledge, someone might guess an answer they think is "expected" rather than what they truly believe, skewing the results and leading to an inaccurate representation of their actual knowledge or opinions.
