Renewable Natural Gas

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) is a sustainable energy source created from organic materials like food waste, agricultural residues, and manure. Through a process called anaerobic digestion, microorganisms break down these materials, producing biogas, which is primarily methane. This biogas can be purified to create RNG, which can be injected into existing natural gas pipelines or used directly for heating, electricity generation, or as vehicle fuel. RNG helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on fossil fuels, making it a cleaner alternative that contributes to energy sustainability and environmental protection.
