Renal Disease
Renal disease, or kidney disease, occurs when the kidneys gradually lose their ability to filter and remove waste, excess fluids, and salts from the blood. This can lead to waste buildup, swelling, high blood pressure, and other health problems. Causes include diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, or genetic factors. In early stages, it may cause no symptoms, but as it progresses, symptoms like fatigue, swelling, and changes in urination may appear. Managing underlying conditions and lifestyle changes can slow its progression. Severe cases may require dialysis or a kidney transplant to maintain health.
