Red Cloud

Red Cloud was a prominent leader of the Oglala Lakota Sioux during the 19th century. Born in 1822, he is best known for leading a successful resistance against U.S. expansion into Native American territories. His most significant achievement was the Red Cloud's War (1866-1868), where he fought against the construction of roads and forts that threatened Sioux land.
