Recovery Time Objective

Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is the target duration of time within which a business aims to restore operations after a disruption or disaster. In simple terms, it answers the question: "How quickly do we need to get back to normal?" For example, if a company sets an RTO of 4 hours, it means they expect to recover and resume key functions within that time frame after an incident. Establishing an RTO helps organizations prioritize their recovery efforts and ensure minimal impact on their operations and customers.
