Qutb Minar

Qutb Minar is a tall, artistically decorated stone tower located in Delhi, India, built in the early 13th century. Standing approximately 73 meters (240 feet) high, it is one of the world's tallest brick minarets and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower was constructed to celebrate the victory of Muslim rulers and to serve as a minaret for Islamic calls to prayer. Its intricate carvings, inscriptions, and five distinct stories showcase Islamic architecture and craftsmanship of the period. Qutb Minar also symbolizes the beginning of Muslim rule in northern India and remains an important historical and cultural landmark.
