Push-Pull Model

The Push-Pull Model is a concept used to explain how different factors influence people's decisions to migrate or move. "Push" factors are negative aspects of a person's current situation, such as poor economic conditions, conflict, or lack of opportunities, encouraging them to leave. "Pull" factors are positive attributes of another place, like job opportunities, safety, or a better quality of life, attracting them to move there. Together, these factors help to explain why individuals or groups decide to migrate from one location to another.
