Psyche

Psyche is a NASA mission exploring the asteroid 16 Psyche, a metal-rich object located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Unlike most asteroids made of rock or ice, Psyche is believed to be composed primarily of metallic iron and nickel, similar to Earth's core. The mission aims to study its composition, structure, and geology to learn about planetary formation and the building blocks of terrestrial planets.
