propulsion system

A propulsion system is a technology that moves vehicles, such as airplanes, boats, and spacecraft, by generating thrust. It converts energy, usually from fuel or electricity, into motion. Common types include jet engines for airplanes, which push air backward to propel forward, and rocket engines, which expel gases quickly in one direction to move the vehicle in the opposite direction. Other systems include electric motors and propellers for boats. Essentially, propulsion systems are crucial for overcoming inertia and enabling us to travel efficiently through air, water, or space.
