Proletkult

Proletkult was a cultural movement in early Soviet Russia that aimed to create a new, working-class culture aligned with revolutionary ideals. It sought to empower laborers by encouraging their participation in art, literature, and music, fostering a sense of pride and identity beyond traditional bourgeois culture. The movement believed that the working class should produce its own cultural expressions to reflect their experiences and support socialist goals.
