Potsdam
Potsdam is a city in Germany, known for its historical significance, especially after World War II. In July-August 1945, the Potsdam Conference took place, where Allied leaders, including U.S. President Harry Truman, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin, met to discuss post-war Europe and the future of Germany. The conference resulted in decisions regarding Germany's division, reparations, and the handling of war criminals. Potsdam is also famous for its beautiful palaces and gardens, particularly Sanssouci Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site that reflects its rich cultural heritage.
