Plasma Displays
Plasma displays are a type of flat-screen television or monitor that uses small cells filled with gases (plasma) to produce images. When electricity energizes these gases, they emit ultraviolet light that, in turn, excites phosphors, creating visible colors. This technology allows for vibrant colors, wide viewing angles, and sharp images. Plasma screens are known for their excellent contrast ratio and deep blacks, making them ideal for high-quality video and gaming. Although largely replaced by LED and OLED screens, plasma displays are appreciated for their color accuracy and consistent picture quality.
