Photographic Film

Photographic film is a material used to capture images in photography. It consists of a flexible strip coated with light-sensitive chemicals. When exposed to light, these chemicals undergo a change, creating a latent image. After exposure, the film must be developed using specific chemicals, which reveal the image. The resulting negatives can then be printed or scanned to produce photographs. Film comes in various types, each suited for different lighting conditions and artistic effects. Although digital photography has largely replaced it in everyday use, film is still appreciated for its unique qualities and the distinct aesthetic it offers.
