Phenotypes

Phenotypes refer to the observable traits or characteristics of an organism, such as its appearance, behavior, and physiological features. These traits arise from the interaction of an organism's genetic makeup (genotype) with environmental factors. For example, a plant's height, flower color, or leaf shape are all phenotypic traits. Essentially, phenotypes are the expressions of genes in a real-world context, influenced by both inherited information and the surrounding conditions in which an organism develops and lives.
