The Pennsylvania Railroad, often called the PRR, was once one of the largest and most influential railroads in the United States, operating primarily in the Northeast and Midwest. Founded in 1846, it connected major cities like Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and New York, serving both passenger and freight transportation.
