Patrick Kennedy

Patrick Kennedy is an American politician and member of the prominent Kennedy family, known for his service as a U.S. Congressman from Rhode Island from 1995 to 2011. He is recognized for his work on health care, mental health, and disability issues, often advocating for mental health reform and the rights of individuals with disabilities. As a member of the Democratic Party, he carried on the family legacy of public service. After leaving Congress, he launched efforts to raise awareness about mental health and founded the Kennedy Forum to promote mental health policy initiatives.
