Patricia C. R. Wright is an accomplished American primatologist and anthropologist known for her significant contributions to the study of lemurs in Madagascar. She is a professor at Stony Brook University and has dedicated much of her career to understanding primate behavior and conservation. Wright is also the founder of the Madagascar Biodiversity Partnership, which works to protect Madagascar’s unique wildlife and promote sustainable development. Her research has increased awareness about the ecological challenges lemurs face and has influenced conservation efforts to preserve their habitats.
