Partial Breach
A partial breach of contract occurs when one party fails to fulfill a part of their contractual obligations, but the breach does not undermine the entire agreement. For instance, if a contractor is hired to build a house and only completes some of the work or uses different materials than specified, this constitutes a partial breach. The other party can seek remedies, such as damages or specific performance, but the contract as a whole remains in effect. Essentially, it's a situation where not everything promised is delivered, but the core of the contract is still intact.
