Parker Solar Probe Science Team

The Parker Solar Probe Science Team is a group of scientists and researchers dedicated to studying the Sun by using the Parker Solar Probe spacecraft. Launched in 2018, the probe travels closer to the Sun than any previous spacecraft, mission aimed at uncovering the Sun's mysteries, such as solar winds and solar flares. By gathering data in real-time from the Sun's outer atmosphere, or corona, the team seeks to improve our understanding of solar activity, which can impact space weather and, consequently, technology on Earth and in space. Their work enhances knowledge of stellar processes and planetary protection.
