paper manufacturing
Paper manufacturing begins with collecting raw materials, primarily wood, which is chipped into small pieces. These chips are then cooked in chemicals to break them down into pulp. The pulp is washed and bleached if necessary, before being mixed with water and refined. The slurry is spread onto screens to form sheets, which are pressed and dried to remove excess water. Finally, the sheets are rolled, cut, and prepared for distribution. This process transforms natural fibers into the paper products we use daily, from books to packaging. Sustainable practices now increasingly involve recycling and using alternative materials.
