Pakistan Armed Forces
The Pakistan Armed Forces consist of three main branches: the Army, Navy, and Air Force. They are responsible for defending the country's sovereignty and conducting military operations both domestically and internationally. The Army is the largest and primarily handles land-based operations. The Navy oversees maritime security, while the Air Force ensures aerial defense. The forces are supported by paramilitary units and a strong intelligence network. Established in 1947, they have played significant roles in conflicts with neighboring countries, peacekeeping missions, and disaster relief efforts within Pakistan. The military also influences Pakistan's politics and diplomacy.
