Pacific Islands Forum (PIF)

The Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) is a regional organization that includes countries and territories in the Pacific Ocean. Established in 1971, its main goal is to promote cooperation and enhance the political, economic, and social well-being of its members. The Forum addresses issues like climate change, sustainable development, and regional security. Comprising 18 member states, including Australia and New Zealand, PIF serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among Pacific nations, helping them tackle common challenges and improve the quality of life for their citizens.
