OTP (One-time Password)
A One-Time Password (OTP) is a temporary code used for secure authentication. Unlike regular passwords, which can be reused, an OTP is valid for only a short time or for a single transaction. When logging into an account or making a purchase, you might receive an OTP via text message or email. You then enter this code to verify your identity. This adds an extra layer of security, as even if someone knows your regular password, they would also need the OTP to gain access, making it harder for unauthorized users to compromise your account.
