
Ogedei Khan
Ogedei Khan was the third Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, ruling from 1229 to 1241. He was the son of Genghis Khan and helped expand the empire further into Eurasia. Ogedei is known for strengthening central government, establishing efficient administration, and launching successful military campaigns across China, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe. His leadership maintained the unity of the vast Mongol Empire and facilitated trade and communication along the Silk Road. Ogedei's reign marked a period of consolidation and stability that allowed the empire to flourish even after his death.
