Office of Refugee Resettlement
The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is a U.S. government agency that helps refugees and certain other displaced individuals rebuild their lives in America. Part of the Department of Health and Human Services, the ORR provides services such as housing assistance, job training, and health care to help refugees integrate into society. It also offers support for unaccompanied minors and promotes programs that encourage self-sufficiency. Essentially, the ORR works to ensure that those who have fled persecution or violence have the resources they need to create new, stable lives in the United States.
