Non-Thermal Plasma

Non-thermal plasma is a state of matter where ionized gas (plasma) exists at a relatively low temperature, meaning the gas itself isn't heated to high levels. This type of plasma contains charged particles, such as ions and electrons, which can produce unique effects. It's used in various applications, including cleaning surfaces, sterilizing medical instruments, and even in advanced technologies like LED lights and air purification. Unlike typical plasma, which can be extremely hot (like that in stars), non-thermal plasma operates at ambient temperatures, making it versatile and useful in many fields without causing damage to sensitive materials.
