Nigerian Military
The Nigerian Military is the armed forces responsible for defending Nigeria’s sovereignty, maintaining peace, and supporting national security. It comprises three main branches: the Army (ground forces that handle land-based threats), the Navy (maritime forces that protect Nigeria’s waters and coastlines), and the Air Force (that secures the airspace). The military also plays roles in disaster response and fighting insurgencies, such as Boko Haram. Their goal is to safeguard the country's stability, uphold laws, and support civil authority when needed, working under the government’s direction to ensure Nigeria's safety and integrity.
