neural circuits

Neural circuits are networks of interconnected neurons—specialized cells in our nervous system—that communicate via electrical signals. These circuits process information, allowing us to perceive, think, move, and feel. When a neuron receives a signal, it relays this to others in the circuit, creating pathways that can be simple, like reflexes, or complex, like reasoning. Essentially, neural circuits are the foundational wiring that orchestrates all our brain and body functions, enabling us to respond adaptively to our environment.
