Neil Barofsky

Neil Barofsky is an American lawyer and public servant known for his role as the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP) from 2008 to 2011. In this position, he was responsible for overseeing the U.S. government's financial rescue efforts during the 2008 financial crisis, aimed at stabilizing the economy and protecting taxpayers.
