nasal cannula

A nasal cannula is a medical device used to deliver supplemental oxygen to patients who need extra respiratory support. It consists of a lightweight tube with two small prongs that fit into the nostrils. The other end is connected to an oxygen tank or concentrator. This device allows patients to breathe in oxygen comfortably while still being able to talk, eat, and move around. Nasal cannulas are commonly used in hospitals, during surgeries, or for patients with respiratory conditions who require ongoing oxygen therapy at home.
