N2O (Nitrous Oxide)

Nitrous oxide (N2O), commonly known as laughing gas, is a colorless gas with a slightly sweet smell. It is used in medicine for its analgesic and anesthetic properties, particularly in dentistry and during surgeries. Additionally, it has applications in food production, serving as a propellant in whipped cream dispensers. Importantly, nitrous oxide is also a greenhouse gas, contributing to climate change. While it can induce feelings of euphoria when inhaled recreationally, misuse can lead to serious health risks, including oxygen deprivation and neurological damage.
