MX Record

An MX Record, or Mail Exchange Record, is a type of data entry in the Domain Name System (DNS) that helps route email messages to the correct mail servers. When you send an email, the sender's email software checks the recipient's domain for its MX Records to find out where to deliver the message. Each MX Record specifies a mail server's address and a priority level, indicating which server to try first. This system ensures that emails are directed efficiently to their intended destinations, facilitating smooth and reliable communication over the internet.
