Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) refers to the systematic process of assessing a project or program's performance. Monitoring involves regularly tracking progress and gathering data to ensure activities are on course. Evaluation, on the other hand, assesses the effectiveness and impact at specific points in time, usually after a project’s completion.
