Mon Cultural Group

The Mon cultural group is an ethnic community primarily found in Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand. They are one of the oldest groups in Southeast Asia and have a rich history, dating back over a thousand years. The Mon people have their own distinct language, traditions, and beliefs, heavily influenced by Theravada Buddhism.
