Mine warfare tactics

Mine warfare tactics involve the strategic use of explosive devices, known as mines, placed in water or on land to disrupt enemy movements. There are two main types: anti-personnel mines, which target individuals, and anti-tank mines, aimed at armored vehicles. Tactics include concealing mines to create hazards for approaching troops or vehicles, and using them to deny access to specific areas. Additionally, naval mines are deployed in maritime zones to disrupt shipping and naval operations. Effective mine warfare requires careful planning and knowledge of terrain, as well as maintaining the ability to clear mines for one’s own forces if needed.
