John D. Eisenhower

John D. Eisenhower was an American soldier, author, and diplomat, known as the son of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Born in 1922, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later became a prominent historian, writing several books on military history. He held the position of U.S. ambassador to Belgium from 1969 to 1971.
