Mike Schmidt is a former professional baseball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest third basemen in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. He played his entire career with the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972 to 1989. Schmidt was known for his powerful batting, exceptional fielding, and leadership on the field.
