Third baseman
A third baseman is a defensive player in baseball who stands near third base, which is the third point along the infield diamond. Their primary role is to field balls hit in their vicinity, catch and throw runners out, and assist in plays at third base. They need quick reflexes, strong arm strength for long throws to first base, and good agility to react to line drives and bunts. The third baseman is often called the "hot corner" because many hard-hit balls come their way. They play a vital role in stopping offensive advances and supporting the team's overall defense.
