Meta-Science
Meta-science is the study of how science itself operates. It examines the methods, practices, and foundations of scientific inquiry. In the context of scientific realism and anti-realism, meta-science explores questions about the nature of scientific theories: Realism suggests that these theories accurately describe the world, while anti-realism argues that they are merely useful tools without claiming truth about reality. Essentially, meta-science investigates the reliability, interpretation, and implications of scientific knowledge, helping us understand the strengths and limitations of what we know through science.
