Margot Frank was the elder daughter of Otto and Edith Frank, and the sister of Anne Frank. Born in 1926 in Frankfurt, Germany, she moved to the Netherlands with her family to escape Nazi persecution. During World War II, Margot, Anne, and their family went into hiding in a secret annex to avoid being deported to concentration camps. Margot was known for her intelligence and calm demeanor. Unfortunately, she was arrested with her family in 1944 and later died in Auschwitz in 1945, at around 18 or 19 years old.
