Ann Frank (Anne Frank)
Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who became famous for her diary, which she wrote while hiding from the Nazis during World War II. Born in Germany in 1929, her family moved to Amsterdam to escape persecution. In 1942, they went into hiding in a secret annex to avoid being captured. During this time, Anne documented her thoughts, experiences, and dreams in her diary until their discovery in 1944. She was later deported to a concentration camp, where she died in 1945. Her diary, "The Diary of a Young Girl," has become a powerful symbol of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
