Manichaeism

Manichaeism is a major religious and philosophical system founded in the 3rd century CE by the prophet Mani. It teaches a cosmic struggle between good and evil, represented by light and darkness. Mani integrated elements from Zoroastrianism, Christianity, and Buddhism, promoting the idea that human lives are influenced by these opposing forces. Followers believe in the duality of the universe, where salvation comes from understanding this struggle and pursuing a life of spiritual enlightenment. Though it flourished for several centuries, Manichaeism gradually declined, but its concepts influenced various religious traditions.
