Magnetic levitation theory

Magnetic levitation, or maglev, uses powerful magnets to lift and propel objects without physical contact. This technology relies on two key principles: magnetic repulsion and attraction. When like poles of magnets face each other, they repel, while opposite poles attract. In maglev trains, magnets on the train push against magnets on the track, causing the train to float and move smoothly at high speeds. This reduces friction, allowing for faster and quieter travel. Maglev is also used in applications like magnetic bearings and launch systems, showing the versatility of magnetism in modern technology.
