Lymphomatoid Papulosis
Lymphomatoid papulosis is a rare skin condition characterized by the appearance of small, raised, reddish-brown spots or papules that can itch and eventually crust over. These lesions typically appear on the arms, legs, and trunk and can resolve on their own over time, though they may recur. While the condition resembles lymphoma, a type of cancer, it is considered a benign (non-cancerous) disorder associated with abnormal lymphocyte activity in the skin. Diagnosis often involves a skin biopsy, and treatment is focused on managing symptoms and may include topical medications or light therapy.
