Ludwig Erhard

Ludwig Erhard was a German economist and politician, best known for leading West Germany’s post-World War II economic recovery. As Minister of Economics and later Chancellor, he promoted free markets, reduced government intervention, and advocated for policies that encouraged entrepreneurship and competition. His efforts helped transform West Germany into one of the world’s leading economic powers, often called the "father of the German economic miracle."
