Ludovico Sforza

Ludovico Sforza, also known as Ludovico il Moro, was a prominent Italian noble and Duke of Milan during the late 15th century. He was a member of the powerful Sforza family and ruled from 1494 until he was ousted in 1499. Known for his patronage of the arts, he supported famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci, who painted "The Last Supper" for him. Ludovico's reign was marked by political alliances, military conflicts, and efforts to consolidate power in northern Italy. His ambition ultimately led to his downfall, as he was defeated by the French forces and exiled.
