Lu Xiangshan

Lu Xiangshan (also known as Lu Jiuyuan) was a prominent Chinese philosopher of the Neo-Confucian tradition during the Song Dynasty (1139-1193). He is known for his ideas on the nature of knowledge and human morality, emphasizing the importance of innate moral understanding and intuitive wisdom. Unlike some of his contemporaries who focused heavily on scholarly learning, Lu argued that true knowledge comes from inner reflection and the cultivation of one's character.
